Terms of use

bubble (PlayBubble, at playbubble.app) is a free sports prediction and trivia site run as a hobby. By using it or making an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or older to make an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.

Free to play, no prizes

Everything on bubble is free. There is no purchase, no entry fee, no subscription, and nothing to buy to play or to do better. No contest on bubble awards a prize of any kind: no cash, gift cards, merchandise or anything else of value. You play for fun and bragging rights.

If we ever offer a real prize, it will come with its own official rules (who can enter, how to enter for free, how winners are picked, the odds and where it's void). Those rules will apply to that contest only, and no prize exists unless they're posted.

Not gambling, not betting advice

bubble doesn't take bets, doesn't link to or partner with sportsbooks, and has no real money in or out. The "$1,000" in the $1,000 Challenge is pretend money: it has no cash value, can't be bought, sold, traded or cashed out, and resets every week.

Bubble AI and every pick, line, percentage or projection on the site are for entertainment and information only. They aren't betting, financial or professional advice and come with no guarantee. Past results don't predict future ones. If you choose to bet somewhere else, that's your own decision and risk, and you must follow the laws where you live. Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. One account per person. You're responsible for what happens on your account. You can change your handle, name and bio, or delete your account, any time from My picks.

What you post

You own what you post (picks, captions, comments, your bio). You give us a free, worldwide permission to store, show and share it on the site and in share links and previews, only so the site works. That permission ends when you delete it or your account, except for copies other people already shared. Anything you post to your profile or comment is public. Only post things you have the right to post.

Community rules

• Talk about the games. Trash talk is fine; personal attacks are not.
• No hate speech, slurs, threats, harassment or bullying.
• No sexual content, no spam, no links to other sites, no ads, and no promoting gambling services.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't share anyone's personal information.
• Don't post anything illegal or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Don't try to get around a block, a ban or our filters, don't hack, scrape or overload the site, and don't use bots or more than one account.

We can remove or hide posts and comments, and pause or delete accounts, that break these rules or put the site or other people at risk, with or without notice. You can report anything from its ••• menu and block anyone you don't want to hear from. We don't promise to review everything, and we aren't responsible for what other users post.

Picks, scores and data

Picks lock when a game kicks off. Scores, schedules, stats and other data come from public feeds and outside sources (such as ESPN's public score feeds and nflverse data used under its CC-BY 4.0 licence). They can be wrong, late or missing; we fix mistakes when we find them, and our grading is final.

Not affiliated, and trademarks

bubble isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, the NCAA, any conference, the College Football Playoff, the Associated Press or any team, player or sportsbook. Team, league and event names belong to their owners and are used only to say which games, teams and players we mean. The public site doesn't use league or team logos. "bubble", "PlayBubble" and the bubble logo are ours.

Copyright complaints

The site's design, code and text belong to us; please don't copy them. If you believe something on bubble infringes your copyright, email hello@playbubble.app with: your contact details; what work you think is infringed; where it is on the site (a link); a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're the owner or allowed to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We'll remove material that infringes and may close the accounts of repeat infringers. If your post was removed and you think that was a mistake, you can send us a counter-notice.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We may change it, pause it or shut down any part of it at any time.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, money or profits, arising from your use of the site, including any bet you place anywhere else. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Your responsibility

If you break these terms or the law while using bubble, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, as far as the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we'll say so on the site. Using the site after an update means you accept it.
